This is my house. Yes it looks like eyes, a triangle nose and a very stern straight mouth. Well to me it does anyways.
I couldn't begin to tell you when this was taken, just sometime around 2006 I'm sure. Before it became mine it was blue, yes BLUE. Actually my porch still has some of that blue on it. Ill have to take a picture so you can see just how blue it was. In fact I have a whole folder of pictures from when it was bought, handed down to my Grandma and decorated by her. Now onto me decorating.
I can remember when my parents bought this house, there were windows covered up on one side by plaster and lathe, but you could see the curtains that STILL hung on then through the other side. Sounds crazy right? ill have to see if i can find a picture of that lol. Hanging wallpaper, oh what a disaster and a half! I'm almost sure my grandma has nightmares about that to this day. the walls are less than straight and even to say it nicely.  I didn't realize to what extent until i took the wallpaper down! But that's a story for another post!
Ive decided that after living in this house for 6 years, raising two kids here, and starting over this past April, its time to make the house really feel like MINE!  So the first thing i did was rip down the lovely flowery wallpaper my Grandma spent so much time and money putting up. That was a long process but such a stress reliever for me since i was in the middle of splitting with my then boyfriend of 9ish years, so needless to say i probably took a little aggression out on that wallpaper lol
So this is where im starting with this blog. I am hoping to be able to get some of the pics up of the befores I lived here, and before my Grandma lived here soon.  Here the the tears of joy, frustration and just tiredness that is sure to come with this redo!!!
